Nottingham Council

We recently completed a project for Nottingham Council, transforming their training space into a flexible and adaptable environment. The requirement was to create two separate training rooms for smaller groups while still allowing the space to open into one large room when needed.

To achieve this, we supplied and installed two A100 twin-point acoustic folding walls with a W980 board finish and a 50dB sound rating. The system was designed as two movable walls that stack at opposite ends of the room. This approach avoided the need for a bulkhead around the column and overcame space limitations within the cupboard area, creating an efficient parking solution for all seven panels.

The finished installation allows the space to quickly switch between separate rooms and a single larger training area, providing the flexibility the client required. Nottingham Council were delighted with the final result and how effectively the design met their needs.
